I'm following the news coming from Europe and I think you should too. Why? Because this can come and get us in here at any day.
Did you hear Dr. Cohen today? He has an article in this week's "The Nation" magazine called "Why is Washington risking war with Russia?" You should check out his books too. I never met with him, but I found him the most informed and objective expert to talk about this horrible brother killing war and understand the caliber of the humanitarian crisis. People of all ages are dying in dark, from hanger and thirst, pain and suffering, many of those who died alone can't be buries. Big cities like Donetsk and Lugansk, among other 100's of villages and towns, are made into ruins with dying people trapped in them. How this can be happening in front of our eyes and no media is getting involved? They don't have info. or got an order from politburoUSA to keep their mouths shot? What is this? How this can happen right now? I'm so speechless that have no energy to talk loud about this situation created by the "civilized West."
About  freelance photo-journalist beheaded and the other is a hostage still; are you surprised? Where are they going, why are they going into enemy territory where EVERY side of conflict hates them to the bone? They took a chance and they got most likely outcome. Why those didn't go into Ukrainian conflict zone where none of the sides would despise them? Moreover, people of Donbass would be glad to see them and would except them with open hearts and hands? Kiev don't want witnesses in Eastern Ukraine because they're the aggressors. People living there didn't go anywhere, they are there dying in the process of protecting their homes, families and their historic land.

Let me tell you what's going on in Eastern Ukraine as of today, Aug. 20th, 2014 AD. I know you can see the date, but I'm going to repeat. That's my thing!

At 1TV.ru/news/social/265830 you'll see the statistic; already 730 000 refugees arrived in Russia from Eastern Ukraine. How many went to other parts of Ukraine or other countries, - who knows?

This is not an official Ukrainian military. Those groups who are fighting and trying to cleanse Donbass from their own brethren, called "Azov" "Dnepr" and others are hired men by oligarchs, who thanks to their money and connections all appointed governors of different regions.
See, in Russia governors are elected. Not in Ukraine, which is the "close" friend of almighty democratic USA and EU? Go figure.
