According to old calendar today is New Year. In some places people still remember and in former Soviet Union, where new year is the biggest holiday, school breaks and mini. vocations lasted until this day. I don't take my Christmas tree down until the 15th of Jan. This way between Dec.25th and Jan.14th I go through 2 Christmases, 2 News Years celebrations. If someone gives me gifts I celebrate Hanukkah too. :)

Now the usual one - the nasty news. Holding on to my stomach, because don't know what's coming.

At 1tv.ru/news/world/275662 heroic Dennis Davidov is reporting from war zone. During the last day UA military continued to breach the agreement of ceasefire and bomb Donetsk area, from where according to initial reports one person is dead. The hottest point in Donetsk remains the airport. You have to see it to believe it; a house come under bombardment, a woman was going home from work when she came under shelling, next to her was a man whose feet were blown. She tells it at 2:30min.
At 3:50min look at the injured dog dragging his body and still trying to safeguard the house. This is a gruesome picture to watch (3:37min). The owner says he escaped the fire, shows the side of his dead cat on the front-yard and trying to get his dog home to try to feed him.
According the Ministry of defense of DNR, UA military breached the ceasefire more than 70 times during last 24 hours.
To me, personally, justice for those who sent those brother-killers there or sponsors them should be subjected to the same pain and slow death in a cold and mud like that dog is subjected to and the people who are in their homes suffering and dying from hunger and cold right now at this moment.
These people gone through so much suffering throughout 20th century and the only last 10 years in Russia people saw some stability and improvement. And, now this. Next year is 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and Germans can't stand the idea of it being celebrated.
Did you hear what Dr. Cohen said yesterday on radio? He is totally right on historical facts and current events. He said that PM of UA who is Washington's man speaking in Germany said that during the WWII Russia invaded Ukraine and Germany. Can you believe this is happening in  this day and age. I feel Germany not only giving loan money, but provides cocktail illegal drugs fir free for those bozos in Kiev.
Look who is humane in this conflict at 1tv.ru/news/world/275663. DNR and LNR are saying that they still can transport coal to the rest of the country, but the problem remains crossing of areas controlled by UA military and private armed groups.

At 1tv.ru/news/world/275674 report says that UN Gen. Sec. said that bus shelling in Valnovakha in Eastern Ukraine, where 12 died and 16 wounded, should be investigated. Lavrov said that nothing is being investigated by Kiev, although this should not become a bait for provocation.
There should be a video on Youtube showing that striked bus and the victims in it, which suppose to be graphic. I heard on the radio, didn't search for it yet.

I listened the first part of your show today. You said France sent an aircraft carrier to back-up Americans in middle East. I didn't know France had an aircraft carrier and don't know what they're going to do with it, do you? What have we done with ours?
Look at the muslimpeople in the streets of Paris saying to NBC reporter that by publishing derogatory image of their prophet again today, is provocation and will bring more retaliation and a civil war.
